The tentative dates of 2021 Panhellenic Recruitment are outlined below. These dates are subject to change as we learn more about updated safety protocols for COVID-19. We are planning a hybrid recruitment with a combination of virtual and in person rounds in accordance with TCU and CDC guidelines. For those who are uncomfortable participating in in-person rounds there will be an option to complete the recruitment process virtually. Additional details will be added and updates will be posted on our website and Instagram as we receive more information.
Potential New Members (PNM) will move In to Main Campus housing on Saturday, August 14th. The office of Housing and Residence Life will send out housing assignments and move in specifics for first year students via email later in the summer.
This round will be completely virtual and should be done from home. Due to safety concerns related to COVID-19 and the limited time available for Panhellenic Recruitment, Open House Round/Round 1 of Panhellenic Recruitment will not include conversations between chapter members and Potential New Members. Each PNM will watch an informative video from each chapter and use this information to make Round 1 preferences. In order to allow the chapters to get to know our Potential New Member
These rounds will likely be a combination of in person and virtual events based on safety and capacity requirements. Potential New Members should plan to be busy throughout each day. There will be allocated time set aside for PNMs to attend mandatory Frogs First events during this time.
Round 1: Whatever you feel most comfortable in! You will not be speaking with active members this round.
Round 2 & 3: These rounds will be casual attire. A t-shirt will be provided by Panhellenic.
It is a bit dressy (brunch attire). A cocktail dress and heels, flats, or wedges would be appropriate. Women might consider bringing comfortable shoes to wear between events. Closed toed shoes will be required to travel to and from recruitment and in between chapter facilities. (Subject to change for 2020 formal recruitment).
If you are participating in Panhellenic Sorority Recruitment, you can attend any orientation session in June or July (sessions 1-12).
For transfer students, you may attend either transfer session A or B as they will not interfere with Panhellenic Recruitment.
Frog Camp Challenge occurs at the same time as Sorority Recruitment, so please register for a different Frog Camp.
For PNMs who have a conflict with recruitment due to conflicts with a TCU athletic schedule, ROTC, or other TCU activity, we are usually able to arrange a special schedule.
Please email TCUpanhellpres@gmail.com if you believe you qualify and need to arrange a special schedule. Please note that special schedules are not made until immediately before the recruitment start date. You will not receive your schedule until that time. Please email TCUpanhellpres@gmail.com prior to registering to confirm your university activity will qualify for a special schedule.
