2025 FORMAL RECRUITMENT SCHEDULE

The dates of 2025 Panhellenic Recruitment are outlined below.  For those who need it there will be an option to complete the recruitment process virtually. Please contact us if you will require an alternate recruitment plan.

MOVE IN DAY

The move-in date for women participating in 2025 Panhellenic Recruitment is Friday, August 8th and Saturday, August 9th. Potential New Members with TCU housing assignments for Fall 2025 in order to be included in the Recruitment move-in list must state that to Housing and Residence Life by the time of their room selection. All move-in times and information is coordinated by the TCU Office of Housing and Residence Life. Please contact that office for any questions specific to move-in.

2025 RECRUITMENT SCHEDULE

ROUND 1- AUGUST 6th

  • This round will be completely virtual and should be done from home. Due to the limited time available for Panhellenic Recruitment, Open House Round/Round 1 of Panhellenic Recruitment will not include conversations between chapter members and Potential New Members. Each PNM will watch an informative video chapter and use this information to make Round 1 preferences. Block out the whole day and prepare to be in a place of no distractions.

  • In order to allow the chapters to get to know our Potential New Members better and make their Round 1 decisions, PNMs will submit a PNM Personality Slide according to the instructions provided by the Panhellenic Council upon registration.

PNM BAG PICK UP- AUGUST 9th

The evening of August 9th will be a PNM Bag Pick Up Event for all women going through sorority recruitment. It will be in the evening, and you will meet your rho gamma + get your PNM bag, which contains the shirt you will wear for Round 2, as well as other essential information and goodies. As well as a fun shopping event. This will occur from 7PM-9PM.

ROUND 2- AUGUST 10th-12th

This round of recruitment will consist of in-person conversations between chapter members and Potential New Members. Attire for Rounds 2 is casual. You will wear the Panhellenic Recruitment t-shirt which will be provided at PNM Bag Pick Up. We recommend wearing cute shorts or a skirt and sturdy shoes with the recruitment t-shirt. PNM's may have a maximum of 9 chapters on their schedule.

ROUND 3- AUGUST 13th-14th

This round of recruitment will consist of in-person conversations between chapter members and Potential New Members. Attire for this round will be a sundress or skirt/shorts and a nice top is appropriate; sturdy, comfortable shoes are strongly encouraged. Flats or sandals will also work. PNM's may have a maximum of 6 chapters.

PREFERENCE ROUND- AUGUST 15th

This round of recruitment will consist of in-person conversations between chapter members and Potential New Members. Since Round 4 is more special and ceremonial, you will want to wear nicer attire like a dress, pantsuit/romper, or blouse and skirt. Think cocktail attire, business professional dresses, or dressing for a nice Sunday brunch. Outfits for Round 4 are most often worn with wedges or heels. PNM's may have a maximum of 2 chapters.

AUGUST 17th- BID DAY!!

On Bid Day you will run home to your chapter, and then head to a venue to do activities and celebrate with your chapter! Transportation is provided! Plans for Bid Day are being finalized by chapters and the university- keep checking back for all of the most recent information!

**PLEASE NOTE: We are often asked if parents and families should attend Bid Day and we caution against this simply because the new members are so busy being in celebration with their new chapters + there is limited space

For PNMs who have a conflict with recruitment due to conflicts with a TCU athletic schedule, ROTC, TCU cheer, Showgirls, or another TCU activity, we are usually able to arrange a special schedule.

Please email the Panhellenic President if you believe you qualify and need to arrange a special schedule. Please note that special schedules are not made until immediately before the recruitment start date. You will not receive your schedule until that time. Please email panhellpres@tcu.edu prior to registering to confirm your university activity will qualify for a special schedule.
